COVID-19 Precautions and Updates

Preparing for Your Travel Experience

Our top priority has been and always will be you – our valued customers. Our team is committed to your safety and well-being during your travels with us. That is why we’ve taken all measures and precautions to comply with the State of New York’s re-opening guidelines, as well as national requirements as we navigate the new normal during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have ramped up efforts across the entire property to guarantee customer and employee safety. As you plan your visit with us, please be aware of the following:

Employee and Guest Health and Safety Across the Property

  • We require all staff members and guests to wear face coverings at all times while on any part of the Belhurst property. If you are dining in our two restaurants or enjoying a tasting in our Wine and Gift Shop, you must wear a face covering, which you can then remove once seated for lunch/dinner or for your tasting.
  • Please respect our 6ft social distancing regulations. We have signs posted throughout the property. We welcome guests to enjoy our expansive lawns, outdoor gardens and dock access.
  • Hand sanitizer is available for employees and guests throughout the resort, especially at high contact areas and touch points.
  • We’ve instructed all employees to stay home if they’re experiencing a fever, cough or shortness of breath. We also ask that you do not travel if you are experiencing these symptoms.
  • All Belhurst staff members are required to complete a temperature and wellness check daily. Employees with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be allowed on the property and will take measures to follow-up with medical care.
  • All staff members have received a COVID-19 safety and cleaning training that followed national and local guidelines.
  • Our property uses cleaning products and protocols that meet EPA guidelines and are approved for use against bacteria, viruses and other airborne pathogens.

Our Three Hotels

  • All hotel guests must wear a face covering.
  • There are one-way check-in and check-out signs to allow a seamless experience and limit close contact.
  • For all 47 rooms across our three hotels, we provide traditional, physical room keys. All room keys have been properly cleaned and sanitized after each guest that meet EPA guidelines with approved products.
  • We have temporarily suspended our continental breakfast until further notice.
  • We have also temporarily suspended our stay-over service and have removed any non-essential objects from our rooms, including decorative items and room information books.

Our Two Restaurants

Stonecutter’s Tavern:

  • Stonecutter’s Tavern is open for indoor and outdoor dining from 11 am to 10 pm, daily. No reservations are required, however we do have an internal process set-up if there is a wait list.
  • Per New York State requirements, we ask that you please wear a face covering upon entering the restaurant that can be removed when you are seated.

Edgar’s Restaurant in the Castle:

  • Edgar’s Restaurant in the Castle is currently open for dining from 5-8:30 pm, daily.
  • Per New York State requirements, we ask that you please wear a face covering upon entering the restaurant that can be removed when you are seated.

Our Wine and Gift Shop

  • Our Wine and Gift Shop is open from 10 am to 8 pm.
  • Per New York State requirements, we ask that you please wear a face covering upon entering that can be removed when you are tasting.
  • We are now conducting wine, beer and cider tastings. We require a reservation for groups of 8 or more. The maximum group size we will allow is 10 people. Please visit our Group Tastings page for more information and to request a reservation for groups of 8-10 people.
  • Take advantage of our wine sale! Buy two bottles of select wines, get one free. Stop in or call 315-781-0201 Ext. 8 for pick up.

Our Isabella Spa-Salon

  • Per New York State Guidelines, our Isabella Spa-Salon is open for hair cutting, coloring and styling services, as well as massage services, manicure/pedicure services and eye makeup application only. Please call 315-781-5040 to make an appointment and receive more information.
  • All Isabella Spa-Salon guests must wear a face covering at all times.
