BELHURST WINERY WINS TWO GOLD MEDALS IN CALIFORNIA

May 5, 2008 (GENEVA, NEW YORK) — Belhurst Winery president Mr. Duane Reeder proudly announces the winning of two gold wine competition medals from the 23rd Pacific Rim International Wine Competition. The winners are Belhurst Cayuga 2006 and Belhurst Dry Riesling 2006. Belhurst Winery has now won 57 Wine Competition Medals.

A competition which took place in California, the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition consisted of over 2,000 wine entries from countries around the globe including Australia, Spain, South Africa, France and more.

With a unique winery philosophy, the Belhurst Winery includes a committee of experts who carefully seek fruit, vineyards, wine varieties and winemakers who will contribute to the palette of wines sold by Belhurst. The committee continually collaborates with area winemakers to produce consistently high quality wines which quickly become Belhurst favorites.

The Belhurst Dry Riesling 2006 is a top-selling Belhurst Wine and is available in the Belhurst Wine & Gift Shop for $18.95. This is the second wine medal won by the Belhurst Dry Riesling, 2006.
